does anyone know of any large scale stores going into the DUMBO area- like Whole Foods or other useful commercial enterprises...

Nothing planned as far as I know. Does FreshDirect go there? I've been watching DUMBO for some time, looks like prices are taking a PLUNGE!

Whole Foods is planning on opening a store last I heard (http://tinyurl.com/ybmgex) and FreshDirect does deliver there.
