This was without a doubt the WORST experience I've ever had in a rental. It was so bad I sometimes felt like all the residents were being punked, because it was inconceivable that such a terrible building passed inspection. This was without a doubt the WORST experience I've ever had in a rental. It was so bad I sometimes felt like all the residents were being punked, because it was inconceivable that such a terrible building passed inspection. In a nutshell: The building LOOKS nice but was built with terrible materials and with as many shortcuts as possible. - No insulation was used at all, along with flimsy PTAC units which made for FREEZING temperatures in the winter, along with monthly electric bills $500-$1000. I kid you not. - Paint is terrible. You can literally rub it off with a finger. - Plumbing sucks. - Rooftop decks which were heavily advertised with grills actually aren't legally able to have grills and so they were removed - Gym TV's that weren't working for most of the year, and now that they are, only have basic tv channels. No cable. - No sound-proofing - no blinds or curtains included for the custom windows. - After moving in the private parking downstairs was sold to another company to become a public parking garage. No security as the parking garage has very easy access to the building. - Management is terrible. Even after voicing multiple complaints, nobody would respond until residents banded together on our own to seek restitution. And even after that, all they gave were verbal promises. I could go on, but it would make me too angry. Very glad to be out of there. The only saving grace is that the super, Henry, is very helpful and responsive, as are the doormen: Shpend and Rafael.
