Seller screwed me on this deal. What should I do?

So, I was able to purchase a condo in nyc. Seller agreed to sell it to me. I put down a deposit, I paid for the management fee, I got approved by the bank/condo board and then one day before closing, he decides not to sell it to me. I wasted 2 months for this process, wasted at least $80K on furniture and now he decides to pull this crap on me?? What are the repercussions for doing this, and what actions should I take?
