Well it is Throwback Thursday so here goes; It was a gut wrenching screaming SRO that really kept pedestrian traffic to a minimal on 70th. Once that closed and The Walton opened complete with condo model apartments (Which sold like wildfire as they all did then) it was quite apparent that the hood was a changing and that one building made a huge difference. Then there was the person complaining after viewing the models that 125 to 135K was insane for a one bedroom.

There's a rental on 2326 Broadway that used to be a multi-story commercial garage! It was converted to a residential building between 1983 and 1985 and annexed to 215 W 84 St.
