Any current residents of 340 East 64th have any advice or thoughts about the building? Currently thinking of purchasing but curious as to the area, the building and even schools - PS 267.

I was just meeting with a client the other day, they are renovating the complete lobby and it didn't look like it was falling apart to me

Bricks did fall from the facade about 12-15 months ago, necessitating the scaffolding. Neighborhood is transitional, not in safety but in amenities and feel. 64th St. is pleasant, once you get west of 2nd. That part of Lenox Hill is best for the ability to reach the rest of the city rather than notably desirable in and of itself.

How is the renovation approval process at this building? I heard that many units/owners update the interior after taking ownership. I'm considering a unit that requires a lot of work. Is it easy to get renovation plan approved? Are the building staff easy to work with during the renovation work?
