There aren't a lot of people that follow the upper Manhattan market on these forums. I am an agent that does focus on Upper Manhattan. While it's highly likely there is brick, you will most likely need to open the wall in order to answer this question with certainty or speak to a neighbor that has renovated before. If there are renovations filed with the city- you can track down the architect that filed and ask them if they can offer any insights.

then get a huge dog while it is still young, once it grows past 50lbs no one will say anything coz it's grandfathering. big deal.

Or get "support dog" letter from a medical professional , or a "mental health counselor".

A counselor only needs 60 hours of classes in NY State to be able to write a letter for a support dog
