Discussion about
I'd like to look ahead to replacing the countertop and backsplash in kitchen with slab granite and replace the cab doors with wood. Kitchen gas line needs to be lowered. Bathroom replace tub with whirlpool tub, vanity, granite top, porcelain sink, smoking of floor that responds to being mopped and grout that doesn't require toothbrush, and tub surround. Any rough idea of what we might be looking at? This will help us know when we can start looking for a contractor.

I think you would be better off calling in a couple of contractors to take a look and give you prices. Without knowing the size of your kitchen its impossible to give you numbers
