I can't provide any recent comment, but I lived here for 12 years, ended in 2004. The neighborhood is significantly more gentrified since then, and the building changed hands in the mid-2000s. It had been owned by a family since it was built, who were pretty good owners.

The apartments are large for the price, there are great views from many apartments, and the walls and floors are pretty well insulated (quiet). It is by no means a white glove building, but well run, a good staff, and well maintained. It is pretty far from the subway, but I could be at LaGuardia airport in 25 minutes at 7 am. The neighborhood as a whole is pretty young, and I suspect even more so than when I left.
