Discussion about
My unit is 656 Sq Ft. corner one bedroom. However the previous owners cut a hole in the wall and installed pocket doors from the living room to enter the bedroom. Then they made the bathroom twice the size with the space. and essentially turned what was a 1 bedroom into their Alcove studio pied a tier. Should i convert this unit back to its original one bedroom floor plan? In other words, the space is now converted to be more like a hotel room or suitable for 1 person to live in, If i converted it back to original layout it would be more suitable for 2 people to live in. What should I do and how much will it cost if I decide to change back.

It would be helpful if you could include a floor plan. Re: whether or not you 'should' convert it back, this really depends on how you plan to use the unit. Is it just for yourself? Do you prefer a smaller bathroom and more living/working space? As far as resale goes, a one-bedroom tends to be more appealing than a studio, all things being equal, to most people. No way to guess at cost without more info.
