Forms that agents ask you to sign

Discussion about
I met with a broker to show me some rental units and before taking me to see any unit (I had no idea of the exact address either) he asked me sign some forms. He had not mentioned anything in previous email and phone conversations. What is all that about?

You only pay the agent their commission if they sell the property. You can open list your property with several different agents at the same time.
If you appoint a sole or exclusive agent, they may continue as an open listing:
after the sole or exclusive agency agreement has ended
if you agree on the appointment form.
