Anyone knows about this building? And what do you think?

I recently visited this development, there isn't much in terms of common areas, but the units had a lot going for it - light, outdoor space, great kitchen and decent finishes. It seems a bit dated though, especially at the asking price. We posted our full review and pictures:

I live there, and it's a nice place.
Prices seam to be reasonable for the area, especially considering that the immediate surroundings are both nicer and more convenient to shopping and transportation than most places in Downtown Brooklyn or up Flatbush.

Transportation is good, but it's not much of a neighborhood, is it? Plus you're going to have the Atlantic Yards nightmare going on for years.

I think the neighborhood here is a bit better than be@Schmerhorn or the places down 4th, and much better than Toren and Oro.

There is a good range of shops within a 10 minute walk, from boutiques to suburban-style stores at Atlantic Terminal/Mall to the crap stores along Fulton.

I do wish there was a better grocery store than Pathmark close by, although neither Key Foods in Park Slope nor Trader Joes are too far away.

I don't have a car, so the Atlantic Yards "nightmare" is a non-event for me.

It is certainly not the nicest neighborhood in NYC, but I think it is good or better than any other one where you can buy new construction for $720 /sqft.

Any updates on this building/neighborhood? Are there any grocery stores nearby? Have new stores/shops/restaurants/bars been opening in anticipation of the Barclay's Center?

How much time is left on the tax abatement?
