negatives if you're a lower level apartment you hear everything from the streets--especially the people coming from Tortilla Flats or the Jane on weekends. The neighborhood is relatively peaceful, but gets very crowded for parades, especially Pride, and fashion week--because its not a tall building on a popular corner it can be loud during those types of events.
