Don't work with these brokers.
They are extremely misleading about apartments and rude to clients. They provided a sample lease before I put down a deposit and the lease ended up being completely different than the one we saw before giving them the deposit. When we went to see the apartment we were rushed out because the agent had another viewing and wouldn't let us see the apartment again until after our deposit was already in. They lied about the size of the bed, wouldn't give us a floor plan or square footage. Even the broker agreed that we should get our deposit back due to misrepresentations, however his boss Robyn, wouldn't listen to us, chastised me, and ultimately hung up by saying I should just get a lawyer and she didn't want to deal with me.
There are a million brokers in the city, save yourself the hassle and work with a reputable firm.

I've had a very similar experience with Mason Group LLC. The owner Robyn is rude, aggressive and cares more about high turnover than spending more than one day working on your apartment. I was approved for an apartment and submitted $1,000 deposit, only to be blindsided by the fact that it was rent-stabilized with a preferential rent rate, once she share the actual lease. The terms of the lease included rider exploiting the preferred rent loophole that would've allowed management to increase my rent over 20% the following year. Once I pointed this out and requested a change to the rider, Robyn called me back, offered a vague explanation about lawyers needing to rewrite the contract, refused to put me in touch with management and wouldn't accept any addition questions. She hung up on me mid sentence and then proceeded to block my phone, only paying me back the deposit after I called management to complain. Don't fall for the low prices or rebates they're offering, these people don't care about tenants, STAY AWAY!
