Please be advised that this coop has a wall built recently, dividing the studio into a 1-bedroom apartment. However, the owner did not obtain the necessary permit from the New York City Department of Buildings; thus the wall is not legal. Buyer beware!

I just took a look, and it is a studio in the description. From the floor plan, it is actually what we call an alcove studio. It is very common for the alcove to be used as a sleeping area, though it should never be called a bedroom. But walls built to separate the alcove are very common. If it were being marketed as a 1-BR, that would vibe very problematic.

True, it is an alcove studio which has been walled off to make a bedroom. This would be fine, if the wall had been built after obtaining a NYC Department of Buildings permit; however, a permit was never obtained, making the wall illegal currently.
