Noise Problem in Building at 275 Conover Street

Discussion about 472 Van Brunt Street in Red Hook
Quiet enjoyment is not possible at 275 Conover Street. There is no sound proofing between floors, therefore you can hear EVERYTHING tenants are doing above you. Anything and everything, including a pin drop, sounds like it is happening in your own apartment. Dogs barking on the other side of the building, people walking or kids running in the hallway, you hear all of it. God forbid you live next to a family with small children! The incessant pounding will drive even the most seasoned New Yorker crazy.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Do you live in this building? We are looking at a unit to rent here, it looks great, however, your comment is going to put us off I think...
