Sale at 958 Bushwick Avenue

A few days after this house went on the market, I gently tried to tell the broker that it was seriously overpriced at $2.2M. Like, outside the realm of reality overpriced. She responded as if I didn't know what I was talking about. It took about 6 months, but it seems sanity may be finally prevailing. It's now "temporarily off market." Better late than never. It's this kind of magical thinking that distorts the real estate market in this city, especially Brooklyn. Even if the seller insisted on this ridiculous price, it's the broker's job to talk the seller off the ledge.
