Weird that townhouses in Manhattan are almost priced on par with Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens and Park Slope.

Houser,

It is a 17 foot wide townhouse not in the best location. Priced at $1700 per sq ft. Taxes are $3500 a month. Park slope taxes will be $1200 per month (worth at least $500k in price) and you will get a 20 foot wide house for around $1300 per sq ft fully high end finished.

I guess "almost" is the key word. BK townhouses have definitely increased in price significantly relative to this part of NYC.
