I live in a Park Ave Coop and have just had another mind boggling experience with our managing agent, BHS. They really don't care a hoot about shareholders only doing the minimum required. In 2012, we complained about noise from a neighbor's newly installed A/C unit. After ignoring our complaints, the managing agent finally agreed to hire an acoustical engineer to do a sound test. After getting the tests which indicated the noise was significantly above the city's code, he made the claim that the noise was elevated because we face a courtyard. Well actually the test results back out the ambient sounds which he would have known had he taken the time to actually speak to the engineer! Recently, this same agent participated in a scheme to seal all the apt windows in our line with no use of A/C for the six week duration of a brick work project. They wanted to start a couple weeks ago. When we pointed out that the apts would be uninhabitable in any warm weather, they sent a nasty letter saying they were modifying the plan but that the shareholders who complained were responsible for lengthening the project and increasing the cost!!! Does anyone in a luxury coop have a good agent/firm? [less]
Avoid Fenwick Keats Management. They are worse!
We're a boutique firm that services a number of higher end modestly sized coops and condos. If you look us up online, you'll see that we're very well rated on social media. Feel free to drop me a line at mvinocur@bemnyc.com.

they can be a little nutty about lining up all the pencils in the same direction, but I've generally had good experiences with Rose (as a broker, not a shareholder).

Does anyone here have experience with BWM (Brickwork Management Inc) or Jordan Cooper?
