(I hope after review this comment will be posted as I believe its important to alert those considering moving here about whats been going on in these buildings. In the past year there have been 5 robbery instances, all done by an inside job. The building has been negligent in taking measures to fix this. Please read below for details). PLEASE READ this before you consider moving here. About 6 months ago we moved into this building, thinking its a nice building with a doorman/security. Our apartment was recently ROBBED, what we learned to be an inside job by the maintenance guys who walked in with their own key while we were not home. While the police are still working on our case, we also learned this is not the first robbery, but a 5th ROBBERY in the last year or so in the Shorecrest Towers. This is completely unacceptable, that the building has been so negligent, and has done nothing in security measures, not even installing cameras on every floor to ensure this never happens, or at the very least warn tenants to change the locks as soon as they move in. The management company has not returned our call or dealt with this issue in the last month. We have been trying to contact them relentlessly every day as we do not wish to live in a home where we don't feel safe. [less]
