My guess is that this project would never have been developed without the branding offered by the Trump name. Be careful for what you wish.

The article only discusses the hotel operation. What about the condo rental pool? I assume condo unit owners were counting on the Trump name to bring in transient business to justify the prices paid for the units. How does this business get replaced? Another Marriott Vacation Club, Philip's Club?

This project seems like a case study in bad development strategy. After what has happened with this project in the past, I wonder what these unit owners are now thinking. Maybe further litigation?

This building was a comedy from the start. I was glad to see this built, if only to annoy the neighborhood "complainers". Now it's amusing to read the sales history on units. Moreover, Mueller may need to assign staff just to unravel its ownership.
