Discussion about 104 Prospect Park West
This was the lifetime home of Park Slope preservation activist Robert Makla, whom I wrote of on Brooklynian: http://www.brooklynian.com/discussion/comment/429282/ I saw it a couple of weeks ago; the renovation is extraordinary. It was dizzying to back there. So much brighter, even on a cloudy day. Many original elements remain, like wall mirrors and wooden doorknobs, even if some have been moved around a bit. Two floors' bedrooms' closet halls still have double vanity sinks, so family members needn't use the bathrooms to exfoliate.

In my opinion if you're going to have a "pot filler" over the stove, then you absolutely need to have a sink next to the stove.
