Guests walk in, take off their coat, and what... drop it on the floor? Give it to one of the kids, who throws it on their bed? Walk down the hall into the bedroom area and use the hall closet there? Maybe there's a coat check in the lobby? (I'd rather see that than some of the other 'amenities' provided in many new buildings.)

What ever happened to the classic 'entry hall closet'?

There is one next to wine refrigerator. In the absence of a closet, people will use a free standing coat stand but coat closet at this price point and in this location/type of apartment is a must. Downtown lofts can come in many configurations and may not have one at all due to less formal nature of the layout.

Price cut already by $300k. I will continue to watch for sign of health for what I call "need-based" luxury purchases. I say min at $2k per sq ft.
