While maintenance staff is great, condo fees are relatively low, that's where the pros stop. For the past years, we've been hit with multiple assessment fees to cover much-needed building maintenance as well as litigation fees regarding maintenance of the garage below us. I guess I got unlucky when we bought our condo, but, I truly regret my decision to purchase here. Firstly, this building is NOISY. For the past three years, it straddled between two major construction projects, which means drilling, truck engine, etc all hours of the morning into the evening and, sometimes, even weekends. Additionally, there is constant turnover in the building (which in itself may be a bad sign), which means renovations and constant construction. Unfortunately, the concrete walls do no justice to soften the noise. If you work at-home or work nights, you will seek no refuge or peace at home.
