Looks beautiful. what could it be?

i have seen it, first its a walk-up, second the layout isn't great, the bedrooms are adjacent to the living area which is not ideal. lastly, the unit is in need of major renovations. So if you add the amount needed for renovations to the asking price you will do better with a higher purchase price with an elevator and a better layout in much better condition. the seller in my opinion is asking $300k too much.

I have some love for this (I'm a broker, but I'm not the listing broker).

However, the floorplan is a little hinky -- it doesn't look like you get that sense of walking into a big space that people generally want they go for a loft -- and it's a very small co-op. So I think the question is, what kind of renovations are your neighbors going to allow you to do? Are they things they'll want you to do (such as soundproofing, or updating systems) once you start the job?

That said, I like Tribeca, and I think this one has its points.
