Or is it people finally realizing that this pre-war loft building is just 5 minutes walk / 1 big block to Central Park and West Side on 58/59th is getting a lot more amenities due to new buildings?
Over 40% higher than 2012 price. Shocking.
This unit was already vacant and nicely staged so owner was probably in a hurry to sell, but I don't know, if my apartment sold that quickly I would worry that maybe it was under-priced.
Wonderful staging.
Fabulous apt. with great layout and decoration. Still not a big fan of the area though which I think is why it sold so cheap. Too many rentals, medical uses and noise for my taste but a real value purchase that should appreciate over time.
What's with SE now cutting off most of initial postings? Looks deliberate but very annoying.
The apartment baths and kitchen are from condo conversion 11 years back which were not very high quality but still nice. Updated would have traded at least another $200k higher.
Pre-war lofts like this are not built any more.
What Ali said.
Staging is nice no doubt but I think they underpriced it by 5-10% and it moved quickly. Obviously, I do not know the contract price.
