Co-op approval with Chap 7 bankruptcy?

My wife and I are aiming to buy our first apartment later this year. We both filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and received discharges at the same time in Jan 2010. So it has been 8 years since the discharges. We have re-built our credit and both have good scores now. My question: is it likely that we can get board approval if we wind up trying for a co-op? Has enough time passed for the bankruptcies to not be a road block?
