35 West 15th may be the most unattractive, horrendous new construction building, inside and out, that I've come across in a very long time. 35 West 15th may be the most unattractive, horrendous new construction building, inside and out, that I've come across in a very long time. Starting with the interiors, the quality of materials used combined with the sheer ugliness of the design throughout the building (in common areas and apts) is sadly pathetic given how high these apts are priced. The lobby makes me want to vomit with its furniture that's trying to say "this is a cool building" but in reality says "a bunch of idiots overpaid for their apts". Same with the well below average gym. And gotta love those plastic chairs in the pool room. As for the apts, kitchen and bathroom stones, fixtures, etc are just plain ugly. The only thing going for some apts in the building are somewhat nice views but one doesn't pay $2,500/sq ft for a fugly apt with nice views. Anyone paying more than $4.8 for this place will end up losing money when then end up moving. [less]
