Selling without a working stove

Anyone have an experience with this? Our building had our cooking gas shut off by Con Edison because of a gas leak. It has been determined we have to re-pipe entirely. How would this affect trying to sell if the stove is not working? Presumably it will take the board some time to put the repair in motion....
