Discussion about 2 Bleecker Street #PH
So, who in their right mind will be paying $2,000/sq ft for an apt with windows that are so high that anyone under 6'+ can't even reach them? Ridiculous.

I actually saw the apartment a long time back in 2009. The windows are indeed very high. I think developer would have been better off raising the floor. Believe the facade may be landmarked.

I think I would be more worried that is a 3 unit condo, on the Bowery, above a noisy, loungey restaurant than about how high the windows were.

I think people who want to live in that area like the active seen but windows starting 5 foot above the floor? That said someone could raise the floor 2 feet except kitchen and create storage underneath.
