How to get rid of old cast iron radiator

Hello, Does anyone know how to get rid of a big, fully functional old cast iron radiator? It doesn't fit into an elevator so we're thinking of splitting it into smaller parts. Since metal scrap price for this has gone down I haven't been able to find a taker for this. Any ideas?

See if anyone on Brownstoner wants it. Most old cast iron radiators do come apart in sections. Dismantling often is not an easy task, especially if it has 90 years of paint on it

You could also try a salvage company like Build it Green or even Olde Good Things. If they're interested they'd handle the dismantling themselves.
