Open house report?

Sorry, Riv_Drive. I was out of town. Might hit a couple this evening.

Ever hear of an open house cancelled due to rain? The listing still showed it scheduled for 4:15 and after waiting around for 15 min and seeing another couple waiting, we left. Emailed the broker and he said he cancelled it due to rain. Unless the place had some serious leaks (it is not a top floor unit either), I can't imagine why it should've been cancelled.

Much more likely that the broker or owner blew off the open house rather then it being canceled to hide any material defects.

Do not believe they canceled due to rain.

Or the agent just did not want to get wet. He should have shown up anyway just to tell the interested parties that it was cancelled.
