not the time to move into 98 rsd

Discussion about 98 Riverside Drive in Upper West Side
We have just be advised that the beautiful lobby that was just redesigned and detailed will be destroyed to "renovate". The only reason could be to to incur expenses to get rid of rent regulated tenants. Sadly everyone will experience the dust, noise and the destruction of a beautiful lobby . This is not the time be living here . Isn't crazy when a landlord is willing to make a building less beautiful and unpleasant to push out some tenants. Every tenant loses. Not the time to move in at 98 Riverside Drive

Wearing of masks in elevators is not enforced by building staff. There is a high turnover of market tenants which makes it very difficult to maintain a sense of community.
Rats outside building have been an on-going issue for years and mail delivery is sloppy.
Water is shut off frequently and on short notice. Not a high quality building!

I don't think you can expect staff to enforce mask rules for residents. Guests/employees more likely to get denied access.
