Hello, I have used Hauseit's Agent Assisted FSBO service and am planning on accepting an offer. The buyer's broker for the other side doesn't know that I am the owner and the second I would send out the Deal Sheet to all parties (which is technically my responsibility under this service), he will see this. Is it possible for me to not offer to send out a Deal Sheet and just have my attorney contact the buyer's attorney? Or send out the Deal Sheet to everyone but the broker? At this point, I would basically love to keep my identity as the seller a secret until the end. Thoughts?
Hi nycbuyer20, I would recommend checking out their customer support forum for questions like this:

Just curious, it seems the only other posts you have on here involve creating:
https://streeteasy.com/talk/discussion/44306-hauseit-vs-realdirect
and vouching for the latter, what made you change your mind or is this Doug or Keith again :-)
I would recommend checking out their product page and FAQ at the bottom which is pretty thorough:

I believe there is an Agent Assisted FSBO seller training video series as well that goes through every step of the process
Seems like you've asked in the forum as well and there are a few answers for you:

Parties being masked from the true identities of who they are dealing with? Really?
If you read any of the materials it's pretty clear that's not the case. No need to intentionally obfuscate.
This is a genuine post from a Hauseit customer, not a different company. I ended up choosing to go with Hauseit because I thought that the anonymity of the fact that it was truly FSBO listing was the whole reason for paying for a flat fee listing service. If I went with Doug or Keith (who were both extremely nice when I spoke to them), I just felt that there may be some pushback from larger brokerages who don't want to work with "known" discount brokers. I think they would be extremely helpful for people who may feel less comfortable than I was in doing all of the work on my own.
Just to be absolutely clear, there is zero push back. I've been a broker for 30 years and the Burkhardt Group has been running for 10 years with over $700 million dollars in closed deals. I'm a member of the real estate Board of New York and all member brokers have signed a Universal co- brokerage agreement.
I don't do assisted fsbos, we're a full service brokerage company that offers reduced commissions based on the efficiency of our model and the fact that I don't give a large portion of my commission to a broker, I am the broker.
Whether you're a buyer or seller, don't fall for the nonsense arguments that you'll be discriminated against or somehow disadvantaged by going with one of the large houses. Listing agents and buy-side agents want to get deals done, and they have a fiduciary responsibility to their clients.
You should use whichever broker/company you prefer. You should also be aware of the facts of doing business in New York City.

Should have read by going with a non large branded broker...
I would still like to know:
Are buyer's brokers dealing directly with sellers (at any point) but being given the impression that they are dealing with a broker?
