Discussion about
Anyone know of a coop building on the upper west side that has a liberal sublet policy? Meaning, you can use it as a pied a terre for half the year, and maybe rent out the other half? I work seasonally in Lincoln Center, live in the suburbs and need a crash pad, but not all the time. Thanks in advance.

You will be wasting your time with coops for less than 1y duration rental. Coop are generally meant for long term residents. Even not all condos allow 6 month sublet and you will spend a lot in application fees.

You would be better off in a hotel condo that specifies 1/2 year residency and the rest of the time they rent out the room.

Usually the smaller walkups, elevators buildings are more liberal. Checkout 525E84, 23W73, 590WEA
