kylewest you should not own an apartment and be able to make changes to the kitchen, you should be renting.

My wife and I have spent a few hours at MCKB in connection with our bathroom renovation project. It is certainly a very good place to see things and get an idea of what you like. However, we did not think that the bathroom staff was the most helpful/knowledgeable and their prices did not seem to us to be the best. We are going to make our purchases through Grande Central Showroom on Bond (212-777-7984). I am hesitant to make any recommendation until our order is complete and all goods have been timely delivered but so far they have been a pleasure to deal with. We have been working with Art Denson and would recommend calling him. He spent about two hours with us educating us about shower systems, sinks, toilets, etc. without any selling pressure. We were also very happy with the pricing when we got the estimate and found it beat the MCKN prices.

I liked my salesperson at MCKB very much in the bath dep't, but I'm thinking the prices could be more competitive--even with a "25% trade discount". I'll check out Grande Central Showroom and compare. In the end, I'm not using them for design, but just to purchase stuff. I'll go with the least expensive if it is a real difference.

NOTE: MCKB HAS 25 SHOWER HEADS WORKING IN A MOCK SHOWER SO YOU CAN SEE HOW THEY ACTUALLY WORK!!!

I think you will find Grande Central to be less expensive but you will figure that out for yourself I am sure. I did not know MCKB has a working mock shower. I definitely want to see different shower heads and how they work. Thanks for the headsup.
