Does anyone know why the price seems low?

Discussion about 205 West 54th Street in Midtown
The building seems nice. The maintenance is low. Both kitchen and bathroom have windows for most units. But 1 bed has being selling less than 550k. I wonder how bad is the condition of 9A.

No pictures of interior, listing admits it needs renovation, so probably pretty bad, but I am tempted to look (and I actually like where I live in Brooklyn). Maybe it's just outdated and needs a good cleaning and floor refinishing. On the other hand, my late aunt's apartment was appalling after half a century of neglect and looked like something out of the Tenement Museum.
