Discussion about
I own an 1885 mansion in Central PA that is filled with beautiful walnut wainscoting as well as walnut ceilings in immaculate condition. Is there a market for this in the NYC area?

Usually labor cost to remove without much damage is too high if the same item is available new with options to stain in whatever color you like.

Generally, it's more valuable left in place than removed and reinstalled. (assumes sufficient buyers with a desire for that particular style)

I would contact high-end architects to let them know what you have.
