All windows have courtyard or air shaft exposures. Low floor of a tall building. Probably very low natural light throughout entire apartment.

Definitely a broker listing trick — overexposing photos so that apartments seem brighter than they are, and you can’t see the depressing courtyard view each window has.

Looking closer, I imagine you're referring to the million dollar asking price jump since it last sold in 2017, with no discernible renovations done when comparing the 2017 listing photos and the current listing photos.
