Who's in charge of floorplans in that building?

This building in middle of COVID 19 which attacks the respiratory system has been negligent about protecting tenants from habitual cigarette and e cigarette smokers. I’ve lived here over 5 years and second hand smoke has been a source of constant complaints by numerous tenants without a resolution. Walking into this building is like walking into a smoke filled bar and if you have sensitive lungs you’ll feel it immediately. As we all know, inhaling other people’s smoke can cause myriad of life threatening health issues including heart attacks and cancer. Avoid this building and if you live here MOVE

How does the smoke get into an apartment? Through kitchen and bathroom vents?

I suspect that you can’t do much if the smoke / cooking smells are coming via vents - central exhausts rarely work well. Why do not people keep air cleaners with smoke/gas filter in their apartments? The one i posted - top end is $1300 and filter life is almost 1 year.

I suspect the building's vents haven't been cleaned in a very long time and also don't have sufficient mechanical assistance. Also for people sensitive to cigarette smoke there is no air filter which will satisfy them once cigarette smoke has entered their unit.

Air purifiers do not work against cigarette smoke l, we’ve done months of research and all experts say filters and air purifiers aren’t helpful for removing second hand smoke. It’s bad enough the building is right over a subway station and having a negligent property manager as you can see from the reviews here.
