We have been in this building for almost 20 years and are horrified at the reduction of basic services as promised when first rented and in the lease. In the last three years, many tenants moved out and the services of the side doorman were removed. The second floor lobby is filthy and the building maintenance has clearly deteriorated. Garbage is strewn in the hallways. Dog urine smells on the second floor lobby and vestibule. Delivery men are allowed in by tenants who are now Columbia students predominately, causing safety concerns for the tenants. The place is now run like a student dorm. BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we rented here for a year. it was a bit of a chaotic situation. the main complaint is there were roaches that we could not seem to get rid of no matter how scrupulously we cleaned our kitchen - they weren't just in our apartment, we saw them everywhere in the building. also our apartment had lead paint. nice floor plan but didn't end up sticking around due to these complaints + the rent seeming really overpriced.
