Discussion about 70 West 45th Street #PH3
I am honestly curious what buyers in this price range think of when they read this description.

I really miss NWT. You and Inonada came back; can’t anyone convince NWT to come back?

When I'm feeling down about the world, I go back to read old Streeteasy threads from 2008/2009 to get a nice dose of schadenfreude from everyone that bought at the height of the bubble. All parties freaking out about everything imploding.

$22M ask, but no floor plan. What they don’t say is that it’s only 3000 sq ft.

To answer the OP’s question, they say “At $7K ppsf, I’d get more joy watching 70 $100 bills burn one by one 3000 times over”.

But this building is the gift that keeps on giving. Check out the video:

I thought above $2500 per sq ft, people have to have big windows rather than some lego block cutouts.

Maybe they are actually top notch, but the floor and carpet photograph terribly.

And check out the desk next to the kitchen. Seems an appropriate WFH for someone spending $22M.

All the furnishings. Every time I look at the pics it just gets worse.

Based on the floorplan in an earlier listing, it's not hopeless, although the 2nd floor space is a waste, and ridiculous as a MBR (no privacy from downstairs). For $22m I don't want an open kitchen, or lack of foyer, or a weirdly proportioned LR/DR space. Or that much drama in a staircase that just goes to an open bedroom (I gave up my career as a rent boy some time ago.) At least there's a 1/2 bath on the main floor for guests.

Was the $4.25MM 2010 sale an inside job?
