Discussion about 30 Grove Street
This beautiful house is actually centrally located in actual Greenwich Village, which was originally a small suburb of NY, located on the banks of the Hudson River. It's pretty well-defined by the USPS zip code 10014. The "East" and "West" monikers are artifacts of realty marketing. Anything east of Sixth Ave (itself a later intrusion) is not and never was part of the Village of Greenwich.
How much price cut is a more interesting convo? 30, 40 or 50 percent?
But would appreciate any links to articles about the history.
3834 sq ft as per DOB.

Original construction related to people escaping a cholera epidemic happening in the city proper. Sound familiar?
