Sale at 1 Main Street, #9B

There are numerous apartments in that building selling for under $800 psf. Granted, some have better views than others, but that is awful expensive even for DUMBO. Even the more expensive (psf) jcondo building didn't get anywhere near $2k in the listings I saw...

And 70 Washington is even cheaper just down the block (and same developer).

1 Main is the best condo building in DUMBO. The price for 9B is more like $1600 per Sq Ft. I would love to see the list of units offered at 1 Main for $800/ft. I wouldn't put the J Condo or 70 Washington in the same category as 1 Main although they are reasonable developments.

2K is listed at $847 psf right now... it might be an inferior apartment, but a 2x differential is totally out of whack...

Oh yeah, and 2k seems to have a brooklyn bridge view, at least partial...

Actually, its 4 blocks away. You go two blocks up on Washington (to York, then to Front) then you turn on front and go a fairly long block down to main, then you go a block up main.... I think you might be thinking of another building... 70 Washington, perhaps (1.5 blocks down).
