Discussion about
Got my first shot Friday. Intradermal (lower dosage). They don't ask any personal questions when you sign in at the clinic. My injection site looks like an especially angry wasp sting, a slight bump with a red dot from the needle. Shot goes in inner forearm. You have to do the fifteen minute wait afterward like the covid shots. Reported NYC infection rates are on a strong downward curve. : ) https://gothamist.com/news/monkeypox-statistics-tracking-the-outbreak-in-nyc-and-beyond My impression is guys got the message and have curtailed their behavior.

In case you know anyone that might be interested, there are now many walk in monkeypox clinics throughout NYC. There is one at 136 W 42nd St. You have to show state or city ID in order to enter. I imagine they would also accept a passport. Go to NYC.gov/vaccine and click the monkeypox button to show locations.
