"Seller going to jail"

Perhaps for real estate fraud?

HelpMe, this is really 72nd and Columbus, so not really off CPW, but it's a pretty good location. Excellent for transportation, and lots of shopping nearby. The major knock is that 72nd St itself is loud/busy, and you're close to Verdi Sq (ie: intersection of Broadway and Amsterdam), which is perpetually busy as well. I don't know about the building, but looking at past closings, nothing was sold for over $500k, which is highly unusual for the UWS, esp the W70s. These are probably old/low-end units that need a fair amount of work. Don't expect any amenities either obviously.

JuiceMan - great call on the shill. Nice try HelpMe. You are from out of town and yet for some reason, you can talk about the A, C, an E lines in this dump of a place, you are familiar with the streeteasy website, you can meet people tonight to check out the open house. Despite all that, you don't know if 72/columbus is a good area?
