Showing Apartment With Agent, Who Pays?

Hello, If an agent/broker wants to show an apartment but the listing is under the owner, do the tenants pay for fee? We want to show people the apartment but we know that some tenants work with agents/brokers but we do not want to list with any of them.

Hi Sarah, traditionally we would word that something like "tenant brokers welcome, but CYOF" to make it clear to tenant brokers that the landlord's not paying them. If you're the landlord, I might not even use the acronym, just in case anyone's a dope -- "tenant brokers, collect your own fee."

And then they can deal with their clients about getting paid.
