I think the place is meant to be more a hotel than an apt, with pricing reflecting that. Except hotels aren’t rented by the month.

I look forward to trying their bar and/or restaurant…

I'm sure this makes sense for somebody -- there are any number of full service residential hotels in NYC with units for sale (Carlyle, Philips Club, etc.). Corporate apts for tech startups thatare setting piles of investor money on fire?
