AKI Development - Beware!

For anyone considering buying a new home that has been built by AKI development, I urge you to reconsider! I wish we had this information previously, but it's worth sharing here in case it helps someone else. We purchased a unit a few months ago and the building has had nothing but problems. Building quality is extremely poor and the developer (AKI) is totally unresponsive. AKI did not meet the offering plan, has not worked on anyones punchlist, hasn't responded to inquiries about financials, and the overall building has had leaks and molds. We've now heard that there is another building seeking legal action against him for similar reasons. A quick google search on previous lawsuits and financial issues should be telling.
