Discussion about 874 Broadway 301/401
Someone needs to explain the bathroom situation in photo number 8 to me.
Described as 'an exposed internal wall' like.. why? Who wants this? It's exposed brick but worse.
It looks like exposed cinderblock :/ That might work in a utilitarian bauhaus structure but looks like a glaring mistake here. The whole place feels too designy. Great bones though - may it find a contented buyer.
I knew the prior owner of 401. The aesthetic is a carryover from when she owned it. If you think it looks odd in pictures, I assure it wasn't any better IRL.
Don't have a buyer for it with this maintenance, but love, love, love.
Yikes.
Building just went thru extensive facade repairs. I wonder if they assessed everyone with a lump sum, payment plan, or mortgage.
Very ornate sections, future facade repairs will be pricey.
It also got an F grade for building emissions though that low a grade could also mean they didnt file a report.
BTW George, that facade report on that building you were tracking is up. The verdict is SWARMP (safe but needs repairs). THey can either put up a shed and fix them or put off the repairs for next inspection and required to fix them then.
