Some people put ketchup on their steak, that doesn't necessarily tell us anything about the steak.
Whatever one thinks about NY Post, I don't see anything other than basic factual reporting in this particular linked piece. It details a lawsuit, the allegations of which are publicly available, and gives background on the plaintiff from other publicly available sources. While I did not linger on every detail of the article, I'm confused as to what part of it anyone thinks should be taken with a grain of salt?
Big No-No to give a contract that's not truly arms length. Yes you can award contracts to relatives or friends but then you need to be extra careful and document the bidding process. Again , why go there? There are plenty of qualified companies that avoid the questions of self-dealing
